Lap Band for smaller amts of weight loss? - lap band success stories
Who knows, if the lap belt goes well, so I'm just looking to remove about 60 pounds? I guess I just was not the best word, because 60 pounds is actually a !!!... many, but most success stories that I read, the PPL lost over 100 pounds ... I say leaders that you will benefit from the procedure if at least 100 pounds overweight, then others that say you can see at least 50. Someone knows what is true?

Surgical eligibility is usually of body mass index, which is determined depending on their size and weight. If your BMI is over 40, would most surgeons considering surgery for gastric banding. For example, if you are 5'9 ", you must have at least 270, have a BMI of 40;
Most surgeons also believe that their BMI was 35-40, if you have other weight related diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, joint problems, sleep apnea, etc. The same is 5'9 "is a person should weigh about 235 have BMI of 35.
These guidelines are fairly conventional, but some doctors may be willing to go a little outside these parameters, but probably not in the form of insurance.
I included a link to the website of the Weight Loss Surgery Center, a law Calculate your BMI in the middle, where you must check your BMI.
